Reading this menu makes me want it to be NYE already...
here's our wedding menu...
we tried to incorporate our favorite foods in a refined way...

Pizza with duck confit and fig balsamic glaze
Assortment of Maki rolls served with tamari dipping sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi
Lobster mac & cheese with truffle oil
Braised short ribs Danielle style
Tandori Chicken*
Smashed roasted butternut squash with maple syrup & bourbon
Mesclun salad with goat cheese, candied pecans, red onion, tomato and balsamic vinaigrette
Artisan breads and lavasch with butter
[*the only thing not finalized.... but we're some sort of chicken?!]

Wedding cake [Lemon cake, raspberry filling, italian buttercream]

Coffees and teas
Clearly, I am not going to be one of those brides who doesn't eat at her own wedding...
I am determined, ready and EXCITED to eat ALL of this food....

Sounds amazing! We are having duck too! And yes, I am totally eating at my Wedding! Picking the menu is SO exciting!
yum!! it's only 8 am but all of that sounds delicious...i'm probably going to need a snack soon.
That sound so yummy! I thought FOR SURE I was going to eat at my wedding. We had soul food - fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, cinnamon rolls, etc. and everything was so good. It was the BEST friend chicken I had ever had - but I only got to eat a small amount because there was just too many things to do. Plus, the food was so yummy everyone cleaned the buffet out - there was NOTHING left! I'm still sad that I didn't get more fried chicken and if I had to do my wedding all over again I would do my meet and greet during appetizers rather than during dinner - then I would have had time to eat.
I've been married once before (oops) and the stuffed shrimp I had for my main course were the best stuffed shrimp I've had EVER.
This time around we had burgers and hot dogs and peanuts and pretzels and the like...because our reception was at a baseball game :) The food was good and all but nothing overly exciting, haha.
What the heck! YUM! How can I get an invite to this wedding? Need a candle lighter, usher or day of coordinator? ;)
First of all, your menu sounds AMAZING!
We had our favorite restaurant cater [bbq] and I definitely sat down and ate before I got up and socialized!
Hot cider! What a fun idea!!!
