I know the real reason you come here.... for a cuteness overload... because let's be real, the content has been lacking [oops]. well, I aim to please so heres the next chapter in our baby/bulldog lovestory -- I continue to be overwhelming overjoyed by how much Ollie is loving PJ [he's even started trying to share his toys with her, ADORABLE]. She's starting to reach out to him and pat him and grab at him so I'm just waiting for the reactions to continue... y'all I dream of the day that they sit on the floor and play together - I think my heart will burst.

anyways, here's the good stuff - pictures of our favorite the dynamic duo....

that's right - just what you were waiting for, another installment in your favorite sibling lovestory... Ollie is still extremely infatuated with his sister and I'm excited to report Penny is starting to interact with him a little bit! She's still not quite old enough to "play" but she is definitely aware of him and not afraid of him... I swear, he's gentle with her but at times I am caught off-guard by him "chomping" on her hand... she's just sitting there calm as can be and her hand is halfway down his throat!? clearly, it doesn't hurt and he's not biting her, just slobbering but I swear my heart jumped the first time I saw it... but seriously. onto the good stuff, my favorite two cuties...

penny: two months old!

well our sweet girl, another month has passed - as evidenced by these pictures taken a few days past your "two month birthday" you're growing like a weed. this month has been an eventful one - you outgrew all your newborn clothes and are only in 0-3 month clothes, you even have outgrown some of those in length! at 2 months you weighed 10.5 lbs and were in the 50th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height! you still love eating [drinking?] your milkies... I swear, you get more excited when you see mommy without her shirt on than daddy does! 

some amazing things happened this month - two of our favorites, you started sleeping through the night [at six weeks!?!] AND you started really smiling at us. making you smile is one of our favorite things to do and we'll do just about anything to bring it on including talk to you, sing, dance - anything! you LOVE it when people talk to you and I swear you're trying to talk back. you have the cutest little voice - just like the rest of you.

your eyes are getting darker but they're still blue, you love bathtime every night, and you really are our sunshine! we love you penelope rose!

[getting better at these -- this one is only three weeks late instead of seven... maybe P's three month post will actually be on time, fingers crossed!]

so when I was pregnant I decided that Sweet P and Ollie were going to be best friends - and so far, so good!  to say he's smitten with her is an understatement -- he even gives me the stank eye when she's crying like "why aren't you helping her?! what's wrong with you?!" we have even started referring to Penny as "his baby" at times because that's really how he acts. I'm really excited for Penny to get a little older so she can start interacting with him - right now she just kinda looks at him like "what is happening? why is this smushface drooling on me?!" or maybe she just sits there emotionless, hah. either way.

anyways, here are some of my favorite snapshots of the future best friends... enjoy!

bulldog loving baby...

I've already decided - baby j and Ollie are going to best friends.  

they might not have met each other yet but I have grand visions of all their playtime fun and cuddles... 

I mean, they're already cuddle buddies...

Ollie is pretty good with our niece and nephews... he's really sweet to them and patient when they love on him [aka tug on him].  I'm more worried about the fact that he thinks he's a little pup [when in fact he's going to outweigh baby j for quite awhile] - he's quite the bulldozer and doesn't really understand the concept of "personal space."  all in all, he's a sweet boy and my first born - so I know we can and will make it work. we just need to be aware of watching them together and being careful.

one thing I do know 100% is that I am on the hunt for adorable bulldog clothing for our sweet girl, she's going to proudly rep her bulldog big brother... here are two that we've already found...
