from the vault...

when I checked my email this morning I got an email from DJ with the subject "from the vault" - all the body of the email said was: thought you would love these!

he was correct... I do. check out sweet Ollie lovin on my face back in his days of puppydom...

doesn't he just make your heart melt?

in other news, DJ went to urgent care yesterday and everything came back normal and he's feeling better. we took sweet Oliver to the vet yesterday too and they said that he's has "allergies" - my poor baby is allergic to Georgia! we have a special shampoo that we have to bath his feet with every three days and the shampoo has to sit for 10-15 minutes. he's a dog. 10-15 minutes is a long time.... we're going to have to find a way to make this go smoother.

DJ and I are spending the night at his younger brother and his wife's house - I'm excited for some QT with them and their kids - we're going to the Georgia Aquarium tomorrow! SO. FREAKING. EXCITED.

happy weekend friends!

my dog had sensitive skin too for awhile and we had the special shampoo...i couldn't handle the waiting for 10-15 minutes so i had to speed up the bathing process...ugh. not fun!

Poor baby! What is he allergic too? That face is so sweet. I love how he uses you guys as pillows.

We had to do a salt soak on my dogs paw when she had a flesh eating virus. We always ended up soaking a towel in the solution wrapping it around her paw and covering with a sock. Then hold her down for awhile. A spoon of peanut butter helps ;)

When I moved to SC the first time (from VA) my husky had horrible allergies! We said she was "allergic to South Carolina"...haha

10-15 minutes is a long time..! I can barely wait 5 minutes when bathing my dog with flea and tick shampoo..!

I love those pics!! Tugs has allergies too! He did the shampoo thing as well and it was horrible trying to get him to sit still. Luckily he only gets it when we go to my parents lakehouse in the spring! Hope he feels better sooN!
