daaaate night

DJ and I have been trying to be more proactive about spending "quality" time together and we have had some fun date nights over the past few weeks [and again, I've been slack about sharing] so here are two fun nights we had.

First up around two weeks ago we went to the Batting Cages and ate some amaaazing junk food [okay DJ was the only one that swung a bat out of the two of us... I just enjoyed some deep friend goodness... mmm onion rings] at the "Snack Shack" - yes, in coordinated outfits, not on purpose, but whatever... [and yes I realize I don't really match... that sweater was too comfy to care and it got chilly real quick]
Pretend that we don't have red-eye... I'm too lazy to fix it [don't judge me, it happens to the best of us]

then last week we went out to a nice sushi dinner at this great restaurant in downtown Great Barrington Bizen... again, I didn't take pictures of the food, but I did snap two quick photos with my iphone...

sake = yum

and my salad plate... is that? seriously? Alright, it's probably a japanese maple leaf but I've been watching too much weeds and I swear...

...then we came home and had a family photoshoot to capture our cuteness... gotta love self-timers, and of course, Oliver wanted to join in the fun!

I'm so lucky to have such an amazing husband... we truly have a great life together. I love him and how thoughtful he is to make sure we get to have special and fun times together.

Tonight we're having another couple over to our house and having a mexican fondue night [wish me lucky that I don't burn down the house.... or the chocolate!] - yum yum, off to look up recipes! :)

I am in super love with your dress and sweater! WHERE DID YOU GET IT?! I wish I had it for tonight. I have a "date" tonight.. and I have NOTHING to wear!

I have never been to the batting cage, can you believe that? Love the pink and blue helmets. Great idea for a date night!

Love that dress too! This is weird sure..but it makes your boobs look great! I only notice because I have none :(

bahaha - I love it.

I've been to the batting cages just never IN a batting cage, no thank you - my hand eye coordination is NOT good enough for that!

Thanks, it is a good booby dress - it's from victoria secret [go figure] - they still have some online for sale! :)

You guys are sooo cute. I love your dress :)

I love date nights and you guys have had some good ones thus far.

Some of my favorites with me and Kev have been our Dave & Buster ones (yay let the inner child out and play), our time at boomers, and any of our sports games.

Our typical date night is dinner and hookah. I want to start mixing it up with the restaurants we go to but hookah is there to stay lol

Cant wait to get more ideas from you..;

Awesome family photos.
